Gift Adene wrote: On May 29, 2026, I had the privilege of facilitating the Google Build with AI program for some students of the Computer Science Department of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana.

The session was more than a technology event, it was a practical learning experience that introduced students to cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence development.

Participants explored how to build AI agents using Python and Visual Studio Code, and also learned how to develop multi-agent AI systems using Google Cloud technologies.

These are the kinds of skills shaping the future of software development, automation, problem-solving, and innovation across industries.

Seeing my students actively engage with these concepts, ask insightful questions, and build alongside one another was both inspiring and rewarding.

Special appreciation to Google for the Build with AI initiative and for creating opportunities that make advanced AI knowledge accessible to students and emerging tech professionals.

Thank you to my amazing HoD, T. A. Oyeniran for the opportunity. My appreciation also goes to the NACOS staff Adviser, Idemudia O. J, and every participant whose enthusiasm made the event a success.

The future of technology will be built by those who are willing to learn, adapt, and innovate. If the energy, curiosity, and passion displayed during this session are anything to go by, then the future of Nigerian technology is in capable hands.

One event.
Countless lessons.
Endless possibilities.
