NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO ND/HND NURSING SCIENCES PROGRAMME

The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences hereby announces the commencement of the admission process into the ND/HND Nursing Sciences Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested applicants are advised to carefully note the requirements below:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

JAMB UTME

Candidates must score a minimum of 180 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.

O’LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Note: NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other examination result.

Additional required documents include: First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC), Certificate of Origin, Birth Certificate, and Change of Name (if applicable).

OTHER CONDITIONS

Candidates must have selected Nursing Sciences as their course of study in the 2025 JAMB UTME.

Applicants must choose one of the College campuses (Anua, Eket, Ikot Ekpene, Ituk Mbang, or Oron) as their first or second choice in JAMB.

Only one application per candidate is allowed; duplicate applications will result in disqualification.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.

Registration must be done using the applicant’s personal and valid GSM number and email address.

Only candidates who meet all requirements and successfully complete the application process will be contacted via email.

Applicants are strongly advised to check both their inbox and spam folder regularly for communication from the College.

Upon completion of registration, candidates must print the acknowledgement/slip as evidence of eligibility for the screening test.
