Seeking to know, understand and walk with God through His Word is the only productive way to show mus love for Him. Just in the case of King Josiah in 2Chronicles 34:19-21 and 2 Kings 22:11-13.

Do away with the ungodly act and practices the out is always deadly.
Ezekiel 7:15-27...19:They will throw gold and silver away in the streets like refuse, because neither silver nor gold can rate them when the Lord pours out his fury. They cannot use it to satisfy their desires or fill their stomachs. Gold and silver led them to sin.
20:Once they were proud of their beautiful jewels, but they used them to make disgusting idols. That is why the Lord has made their wealth repulsive to them.
21:"I will let foreigners rob them," rays the LORD, "and lawbreakers will take all their wealth and defile it"
22: I will not interfere when my treasure Temple is profaned, when robbers break into it and defile it. .........

LOVE NOT THE WORLD AND ALL THAT IS HERS.

1 John chapter 2.
15: Do not love the world or anything that belongs un the world. If you love the world, you do not love the Father.
16: Everything that belongs to the world- what the sinful self desires, what people see and want, and everything in this world that people are so proud of- none this comes fron the Father; it all comes fron the world.
17: The world and everything in it that people desire is passing away; but those who do the will of God live for ever. Amen. This message is coming to you via Evergreen Biblical Thoughts; do endeavour to check us next time for Words. Kindly share to others.

This is how or what it means to love God and man; keeping His only commandment as He said, all commandments are based on love God and love your neighbour. Evidently, if you live in peace via holiness(not that you submit/join in his misconduct to be at peace.) with that your neighbour you won't hurt him or do him harm.
