HAPPY WORLD RADIO DAY
In an era marked by the dizzying speed of technological innovation and the rapid obsolescence of one shiny new platform after another, Radio is beginning its second century of service as one of the most dependable and widely utilized forms of media in the world.
Proclaimed in 2011 by the Member States of UNESCO and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 as a UN International Day, February 13 became World Radio Day (WRD). Radio, as a technology, science, means of communications and system of programming audio elements has roots all the way back to the 1800s… so it can be safely said that the medium is already well into its second century.
We hope you were enlightened on our live broadcast on Fresh 106.9 FM earlier (at 9:30am) as our school joined the world to commemorate the World Radio Day.

On the 4th of February every year, the world unites to raise awareness on fundamental cancer issues; we at TREASURED HERITAGE SCHOOL join the World Health Organization (WHO) with the public in spearheading this annual awareness day and beyond.
The focus of World Cancer Day between year 2022 and 2024 is to help “Close the cancer gap.” This year marks the third and final year of the campaign. The theme for this year is “Together, we challenge those in power”. This theme encompasses the global demand for leaders to prioritize and invest in cancer prevention and care and to do more to achieve a just and cancer-free world.
