CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE: A REMARKABLE END OF ACADEMIC SESSION AT VGC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS!

VGC International Schools proudly hosted its 8th End of Academic Session Prize Giving and Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, 25th July 2024, at the Apata Event Centre, Ajilosun, Ado-Ekiti. This year's theme, "Embracing the Future Beyond the Horizon," encapsulated the spirit of progress and innovation that our school champions.

The event kicked off at 8:00 am with a heartwarming session of Praise and Worship led by our talented school choir. Pastor Abimbola King opened the ceremony with an inspiring prayer, followed by a warm welcome from Mrs. Adenike Iginla.

Highlights of the Day:

✨ Procession of Graduands*: Our students marched proudly to the hymn, showcasing their achievements and marking the culmination of their hard work.

✨ National Anthem, Ekiti Anthem, and School Anthem: Voices united in patriotism and school pride.

✨ Bible Reading: Teminike Fasunlua, a Grade 5 graduand, delivered a poignant reading from Psalm 100.

✨ Welcome Song: The School Choir's beautiful rendition set an uplifting tone for the event.

✨ Speeches and Presentations:
- Our youngest orator, three-year-old Are Treasure, melted hearts with her Kindergarten II speech.
- Barrister A.A. Morakinyo Esq, Executive Secretary of the Bureau of Tourism Development, Ekiti State, delivered an insightful Chairman's Speech.
- Engaging presentations from Nursery and Kindergarten classes demonstrated the creativity and learning of our students.

✨ Phonics and Diction Presentations: Showcasing linguistic skills and academic excellence.

✨ Show-Stopping Ballet Dance: A top-notch performance that earned a standing ovation from the audience!

✨ Innovative Coding Presentation:
- Akindun Covenant impressed with his mobile banking app.
- Owolafe Ayomide Henry showcased his cutting-edge e-commerce store and search engine.
- Abe Oluwapamilerin wowed everyone with his calculator project.

✨ Cultural Extravaganza: Vibrant cultural dances from Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo traditions brought rich diversity to the stage.

✨ Grade V and JSS 3 Celebrations: Heartfelt dances and thanksgiving ceremonies celebrated the milestones of our graduands. Owoyemi Ayomide Richard, our Head Boy, delivered a stirring speech that left everyone inspired.

✨ Entrepreneurial Spirit: The sale of liquid soap made by our students demonstrated their innovative and entrepreneurial skills.

✨ Award Presentations: Recognizing the hard work and achievements of our outstanding students.

The event concluded with the cutting of the cake, a final hymn, and a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and anticipation for the future.
