Today is International Colour Day - and as a colour analyst, it's a day to celebrate just how important it is in our lives!
The right colours against our skin, hair and eyes can make us look better but also have a role in boosting our mood too.
Colours also send subtle messages to others too ;- red is a colour of energy and passion, orange the colour of confidence and bravery, yellow the colour associated with happiness and creativity, while green indicates growth and tranquility, blue is a colour that instills trust,love and loyalty, while pink is sweet and compassionate. Purple has always been associated with royalty and luxury, while brown is dependable and trustworthy, black can be formal, sexy or dramatic and white is clean and innocent.
