My name is Muhammed Farouk.

I am the CEO of INTEXT - PRO, a design and construction firm, offering professional services in construction, interior and exterior designs and woodworks

My time at ADS played a major role as part of my growth, improved my skill and technical knowledge.
These are factors that pushed my creativity beyond just theoretical but also the practical and field knowledge in design and construction.

With ADS, their common goal is to produce positive minds and infuse in them the mind to take on their aims and do great things in various professional fields.
This has helped me the most.

I’ve wanted to become an industry expert. In this position, I hope to increase my technical knowledge while providing solutions and improvements to common construction problems. In the long run, I aspire to contribute significantly to space development and optimization to create Structures that would genuinely improve the living spaces of millions and as well speak for itself in simplicity and form.

The alumni spotlight this Friday shines on a super creative super talented young architect 🎉🎉🎉 We gave Nafisah the floor and this is her message:

Hello!
I’m Nafisa, a former student of Albedo Design School. I took the SketchUp course, which was an overall great learning experience. The instructor was a well-versed SketchUp user and a very patient teacher. We started with the basics of the user interface and simple modeling tools, and after just a few weeks, I was able to model an entire building from start to finish with all its details and finishes. I also learned how to visualize my works through V-Ray rendering and was taught some very helpful tips to produce them quickly.

After the course, I went on to continue my studies and obtained my Masters degree in Architecture. The skills I obtained from the SketchUp course were a great help in my studies. I currently work as Lead Architect and Designer in my architectural firm, .atelier

We introduce our alumnus of the week in the person of (drum rolls 🥁) Architect Ahmed Bawa Bwari aka Meelow 👨🏽‍🎓

Arc. Ahmed was in our very first class of 3dsmax, to better his knowledge of the software and achieve sharper visualisation skills.

He currently works at Brains and Hammers Ltd. as an Architect and Lead Technical Officer.

When asked how his experience at ADS was? He said:

“I acquired skills on how to introduce new and advanced methods of solving design problems. I learnt how to render to give better visual quality to designs as well as gaining knowledge on how to maximise spaces to provide better flow and circulation” The images shared in this post are a testimony to this 💯💯

Alumni spotlight this Friday shines on the amazing Rakiyat Odunsi aka The Door Lady 🎉💃🏽 .odunsi

Rakiyat is the CEO of Interior Dimensions Ltd, a wood work and interior design company operating since 2015. She is a passionate interior designer, with many years of experience as a sales executive and an interior designer.

Rakiyat joined ADS for a certificate in Furniture Design in 2017 and she shares her experience with us:

At ADS i was able to horn my skills in wood work, space management and better design communications skills...Networking was one area i learnt also...Although the use of software was thought but due to lack of practice i have lost the knowledge. Overall i am now more creative, using the upscaling skiils to make every space special while using what was there.

He’s an architect, an interior designer and a visualiser (we can stop right here and it’d be enough🤩) but we want you to get to know JUDE better so we will share his experience at ADS and his vision 🎉

Having relocated to the UK recently, he has established himself as a wellness design expert within the field of interior design. Jude has this to say:

My Experience at ALBEDO:

Enrolling at Albedo design school was a natural step in my pursuit of improving my knowledge and skills in interior design, as I was keen on creating spaces that could improve user experience. The structure of the program was both comprehensive and engaging, and I found myself looking forward to every session. The practical design sessions were a highlight, as they facilitated the exchange of ideas and allowed for creative thinking. Through these sessions, I learned to embrace unconventional design concepts that I had previously overlooked due to rigid design regulations.

My Company:

After completing his course at Albedo, Jude launched a collaborative design consultancy known as BOLD STUDIO NG which has since established a strong client base. With a team of creative individuals, the company has developed an impressive portfolio of projects both in Nigeria and internationally.

My aspirations:

I aspire to establish myself as a distinguished designer with exceptional creative abilities in crafting spaces that captivate and reflect the cultural and historical essence of their location. My ultimate goal is to foster stronger connections between people and their environment by designing spaces that inspire and evoke a sense of place.
