SOLID BASE!!

Good morning Folks,

I have been a bit inconsistent with sharing the "fruit of my pen" with Y'all for a while now, too many obligations ( September is here oo) and distractions but I promise to do better

So, from last night all through to this morning, the title has been ringing in my head - a Solid Base- so I decided to study in that direction this morning...

Scriptures:

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Luke 6:47‭-‬49 KJV

Listen, the most important part of any building, structure or organization is the foundation - The Base!! No matter how beautiful and sophisticated the final result is , if the BASE is not SOLID it will come crumbling down.

So I ask, what is your foundation built on? Where is your base anchored on? Is it Solid or is it something shaky?

Our Lord Jesus said , in the scripture above, that listening to HIS Words and doing them is equivalent to Building on a Solid Base!! HIS Words will never fail.

Notice , He did not say "If the Rain comes", He said "when the Rain comes" that's because , The Rain and storms are a definite occurrence in life... They will surely come, however what will stand the test of time is your SOLID BASE!!

Another thing to note is that for the man that built on the ROCK, The SOLID Base, he took more time because he did more activities - He dug deep and built the foundation first , before building the house... The other man just built the house on the sand straight away.

We live in a fast-paced world ,where if you are not moving "fast" you might be considered unproductive ; don't budge.. Stay focused on having a SOLID BASE!!
