📌 TAXCLUB UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA VISIT TO THE FCT-IRS OFFICE AT GWAGWALADA ON THE 17TH OF MARCH, 2026📌📌

The club led by the President Samson Agbo Dennis along side other members, paid a courtesy to the FCT-IRS office at Gwagwalada and were welcomed in grand style.
The visit was an extraordinary one as it was packed with lots of souvenir knowledge. One of the staffs gave a full sessions of the;
♦️Duties of FCT-IRS which included Administration of taxes for individuals, Partnerships, Trust, Settlement, Communities and Families.
♦️The units in the FCT-IRS and their responsibilities
♦️How to fill returns
♦️ And The session was wrapped with Questions and Answers.

It was indeed a great experience to witness tax practicioners on deck carrying out their duties. Thank you Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service

Tax Goes to School

Yesterday 13th February, 2026 we kicked off our first session of Tax Goes to School by taking the message of taxation as a civic duty to the Business and Humanities Class of 2025/2026 at the School of the Gifted, Gwagwalada, FCT Abuja.

It was a truly memorable session. The students actively shared their thoughts, asked insightful questions, and showed genuine interest in understanding why taxation matters in nation-building.
To further deepen their knowledge, the Tax Club, University of Abuja donated copies of “Secrets of a Good Land”, a foundational book on taxation.

This is just the beginning of building tax consciousness early, one classroom at a time.

We had an incredible session bringing students and tax enthusiasts together to explore taxation in a practical, fun, and interactive way! From engaging discussions to insightful Q&As, the energy and curiosity were truly inspiring.
