That's the part of the Advanced Training journey we love the most.

Because at some point, the tools stop looking intimidating. The projects start making more sense. And the things you once thought were too advanced suddenly become things you can actually build and work with.

We've watched our students grow, take on projects, solve problems, and become more confident with the skills they've learned.

And rather than tell you how well they've done, we'll let their experiences speak for themselves.

There’s always something about the first lecture of a new training.

Everyone comes in excited, but somewhere in that excitement is that little question:

“Okay… what exactly are we about to learn?”

Then the first lecture happens.

For Cohort 6, we started with CRM.

And suddenly, something that may have sounded unfamiliar before starts becoming clearer.

You begin to understand what a CRM actually does, why businesses need it, how it helps them manage their customers, and why this is a skill worth paying attention to.

And we love that first moment when the questions start coming.

Because that's when learning really begins.

We can't wait to see how this cohort moves from their first lecture to the point where they can confidently look at a CRM and say, “I know what I'm doing here.”

There is always something special about the first day of a new cohort.

You have people coming in with different expectations, different experiences, and probably a lot of questions about what the next few weeks will look like.

And then there is us on the other side, excited because we already know what is ahead of you.

We know there will be days when everything starts making sense, and there will also be days when you look at a tool and wonder, “What exactly am I looking at?”

But that's okay.

You didn't register because you already knew everything. You registered because you wanted to learn.

So, to every member of Cohort 6, congratulations.

Congratulations for making the decision to start. Congratulations for choosing to invest your time in yourself. And congratulations for being part of what will be our last Basic Training cohort for the year.

We are ready for you.

The instructors are ready. The classes are ready. The projects are ready. And honestly, we cannot wait to see what you will become by the time this training is over.

By God's grace, we will give you everything we can and we will not fail you.

But we need you to promise us something too.

When the classes get challenging, don't disappear.

When something doesn't make sense, ask questions.

When you feel like you're not getting it yet, keep going.

And when this training is over, make us proud of the decision you made to start.

Sometimes, the real value of a training becomes clearer when you see what students begin to do with what they have learned.

This is what we mean when we say our training goes beyond learning tools.

Sometimes, you don't realise how much a decision can change things until you're already in the middle of the journey.

There is a side of working virtually that nobody really prepares you for.

The part where everybody has left the house and it's just you, your laptop, and the day ahead of you.

Nobody is coming to ask if you've woken up.

Nobody is waiting for you to resume work.

Nobody is telling you, "It's 5 o'clock, close your laptop."

And honestly, at first, that freedom can feel amazing.

Until you realise that you are the one who has to push yourself.

You have to decide that even though you worked late yesterday, you're still getting up at the time you planned.

You have to create a routine and actually follow it.

You have to know when to work, when to rest, when to sleep, and when to leave work alone.

And some days, especially when you're naturally a quiet person or you live alone, it can feel like you're doing all of this by yourself.

But then, slowly, you find your rhythm.

You wake up earlier.

You get your work done.

You start looking forward to your mornings.

You realise you're becoming more disciplined than you thought you could be.

And that, for me, is one of the beautiful things about building a virtual career.

You don't just learn how to work from anywhere.

You learn how to manage yourself.
