The best time to give your children the best of education is while they are young. If they get it sound at this foundational stage of life, they will grow into successful adults, but if you don't take it seriously, it may have an effect of a lifetime. May God help us.

We have seen the seriousness attached to education of our children and that of our teeming youths whom we claim are leaders of tomorrow by our so-called leaders who does not know the difference in time and season. This explains why in the midst of abundant mineral and human resources, Nigeria is still begging and borrowing to survive. How on earth can someone who has been a light in the darkness be deposed by a corrupt government whom we all saw on videos stuffing their pockets with ill-gotten money, simply because he has always spoken not only what he thinks and believes but what in the real sense is true. People are giving birth to children they are not ready to train in education, and when it is said it becomes a crime. How do we continue to practice this and expect a rapid development in our social economic life. It is shameful!

Education of the mind, of the soul and the body is very key to child development. Do not deny any child adequate education especially at the early stages of life. It liberates from poverty.

Education is the best legacy..

The lack or inadequate information at early stage of life is one of the things i regretted of, even as an adult i have became. It is therefore my wish and my expectations that no child should lack adequate information more especially during those early years of life. As it is written in the Bible, "If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do". This shows that foundation is very important to the kind of life one will live on earth. It is therefore very disappointing to note, the kind and quality of education that we give to our children in Nigeria. The government is not doing enough in this regard. And this has left me with some questions in my head. If our education system is effective, why are the elite, and the high political office holders sending their children to Ghana, Canada, and the United Kingdom for studies? Why can't we ensure that our schools in Nigeria are well equipped with human and material resources to help prepare our leaders of tomorrow? Why do we at this era of high technological advancement still lack trained Guidance counsellors and Educational psychologist in our schools? Or do we say that we are so blind in this part of the world that we can't see their usefulness in schools in other parts of the world? What about the high level of moral and societal decadence we see and witness today? Does that not call for attention? Why can't the government of the day make it a law that every primary and secondary school in Nigeria must have at least one trained, professional Educational and Counselling psychologist to provide adequate counselling services to our children?. I am saying this because if i was provided with adequate information, guided and counseled at the appropriate time in life, i think i would have been better than i am today.
