President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of new members to the governing council of the University of Abuja, thereby completing the constitution of the external members of the council of the institution.

The newly appointed members to the University Council are: Professor Rosemary Iriowen Egonmwan (South South), Dr Adedeji Adefuye (South West), Professor Sarki Abba Abdulkadir (North West), and Professor Aminu Mohammed Dukku (North East).
