FGC KWALI PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP SEMINAR/LAUNCHING OF THE FGC KWALI KNIGHTS CHESS CLUB - SATURDAY 30TH JUNE, 2018.

The Public Relations Office of the association wishes to invite FEDGOKOSA members to the maiden edition of the FGC Kwali Professional Mentorship Programme/Launching of the FGC Kwali Knights Chess Club billed to hold on the 30th of June 2018 at the Schools Examination Hall by 10am.

Some prospective speakers include Emmanuel Okala, Pharmacist; Hon. Kabiru Ajana, Member Federal House of Representatives-Kogi State; Eval Elemi, Jaiz Bank; Peter Chogudo, NNPC; Sanusi Ohiare (Director General -National Rural Electrification Agency) Cyprian Amgbah, International Lawyer; Lt. Col. Hussein Mohammed Abdullahi,Nigerian Army; Kevin Pam, Entertainer (Winner, Big Brother Africa 2009); Taiye Ojo, COUNTDOWN magazine; Fatima Saleh,Chartered Accountant/Entrepreneur, amongst several others.

This programme is aimed at helping senior students of FGC Kwali gain insider insight into various career options, discover their strengths and gain self-confidence for future aspirations through interactions with the alumni professionals.

In addition, we are proud to announce the launching of the FGC Kwali knights Chess Club; an initiative of Joseph Ukpong (K94) himself a former chess champion, aims to develop the quality of chess in FGC Kwali and establish FGC Kwali as a leading chess school in Abuja and amongst unity schools at the FEDGOCOL games.

The game of chess is a very helpful tool for enhancing mental development and problem-solving skills. The club is an extension of the National Executive Committee (NEC) sports project launched in 2017.
