KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE/TARGET MARKET

The quality of being a Business Boss doesn't rest on your great product/services, neither does it have much to do with your Academic Attainment, if you cannot channel it rightly.
Being a Business Boss has everything to do with your audience_ simply put, the kind of people that would normally want to patronize your business.
Every Business Owner, from the beginning, should carve out their own customers from amongst the populace. You need to know your target clients, based on your business niche. How?
What are you selling?
Why are you selling?
Who are you selling to?
Why should they buy from you?

Everybody cannot be your customer. The best way to know who'd really buy from you is to TAKE THIS PERSONAL CHECK:
Do you like what you sell or offer?
Why do you like that particular product/service?
Would you easily buy at the same price you have set for the product?
Do this simple personal check to see what you are putting out there, 'in the eyes' of your clients. If you cannot use the product or pay the set amount for your product(s), why do you think someone else will be willing to take out their money and buy from you?
Here's a tricky business truth, your customers are only as good as you in terms of purchasing products; if you're a luxury buyer, you'll get luxury customers; if you're quite indecisive with your purchase, your customers will be like that with you; if you're always skeptical about products, there you also go having same clients; if you always like to negotiate to beat-down the price in all your purchase, your customers will do the same with you_ even those who can easily pay for the product. If you don't believe this, carry out the honest rain check on yourself to see for yourself, what I'm trying to teach you.

First of all, you need to be sure that you have a real team and not simply a group of people who have been put into the same room/organization/colored shirt! Make sure you have a clear understanding of what a 'team' is from the outset.

You may have the title of 'team manager' or 'team leader,' but that doesn't mean you actually have a 'team!' A team has characteristics that set it apart from being just a group of people. Don't assume you have a team until you have common agreement that this group of people is a team...
Teams have a common goal or purpose.
Teams have more than one member.
Teams have complementary skills & abilities.
Teams work togrther.

People like to be a part of a team with a proper identity, so get them involved in creating that identity_ Team Name, Team Logo, Team Motto, Team Vision...
