ACCI BEST Centre continued its Digital Media Production Training under the IDEAS Project, with participants exploring Social Media Management, Ethics and Digital Marketing. The sessions are equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to manage digital platforms effectively, create responsible online content, and understand how digital marketing can be used to reach and engage audiences.

This programme is implemented under the IDEAS Project of the Federal Ministry of Education with support from the World Bank.

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) hosted a delegation from Africa Market Corner, representing TFO Canada, for an institutional capacity assessment under the Trade for Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth (TRISEG) Project.

The hybrid engagement brought together ACCI management and technical teams to assess the Chamber’s readiness to strengthen support for Nigerian SMEs—particularly women-led and agro-based enterprises—seeking access to the Canadian and other international markets.

The assessment focused on key areas including Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), Environmental Sustainability and Climate Resilience, Digitalisation of Trade Services, Export Readiness, and Access to Finance.

The session also provided an opportunity to identify areas for institutional strengthening, knowledge transfer, trainer development, and improved business support services.

ACCI appreciates TFO Canada and Africa Market Corner for the valuable collaboration and insights. The assessment provides a clear roadmap for enhancing the Chamber’s capacity to deliver impactful services and create greater opportunities for Nigerian businesses in global markets.
