Once, in a peaceful village nestled between green hills, lived an elderly couple, Meera and Raj. They had spent their entire lives working hard and raising their three children with love and care. Now retired, they often sat on their porch, reminiscing about the days when their home was filled with the laughter and chaos of their young children.
One evening, as the sun set, Meera said to Raj, “We have worked so hard for many things in life—our farm, our home—but the greatest happiness we have ever known came from our children.”
Raj nodded in agreement. “True. It wasn’t the wealth we accumulated, but watching them grow, guiding them, and seeing them become kind, responsible adults that brought us the greatest joy.”
The couple’s children, who had now moved to different cities for work, returned to visit them every year. On this particular visit, the house was once again filled with laughter, as their grandchildren ran around, filling the air with joy.
As the evening drew to a close, their eldest son came and sat beside them. “We can never repay you for the love and lessons you’ve given us. We are who we are because of you.”
Meera smiled, her heart full. “You’ve already given us more than enough. Our greatest joy has always been you—our children.”
The moral of the story: Our children are our greatest joy, for they bring meaning to our lives, and the love we share with them is the most precious treasure of all.

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a poor farmer named Raju. He worked tirelessly in his fields to provide for his family. Raju’s greatest joy was his only son, Aarav, a curious and bright boy. Though Raju had little money, he was determined to give Aarav the best education possible.
Many villagers questioned Raju’s decision, saying, “Why spend so much on education? Let him work in the fields with you.” But Raju always replied, “The best inheritance I can give my son is not land or wealth, but knowledge.”
Years passed, and Aarav studied hard. With his father’s support, he eventually became a successful scholar. He used his education to help the village prosper, bringing new farming techniques, schools, and hospitals.
One day, Raju stood proudly in his now-blooming fields, watching as his son taught others. The villagers, once doubtful, now came to thank Raju. “You were right,” they said. “The greatest gift a parent can give is the gift of education.”
Raju smiled and replied, “When you educate a child, you don’t just change their life; you change the future of many.”
The moral of the story: The best gift a parent can give their child is a good education, for it shapes not just their life, but the lives of those around them.
Your rest at Old is determined by how well you raised your children.
