Greetings dearest friend. It gives me special joy to share with you this special theme on trust.
Trust is one of the hardest virtues to cultivate. To trust one implies having some good measure of confidence in that individual.
However for one to be trusted, the person needs to have a good measure of self esteem and worth. It is on this premise that many people are of the opinion that trust is earned.
Your actions towards the rest of humankind should elicit some good measure of trust. Learn to treat your fellow human beings with respect and decorum. Such treatment helps people to trust you.

TRIBUTE
You will live in our memories forever: A tribute to late Mrs Roseline Adakayi
I had gone to work yesterday (9th January) and returned home in the afternoon. In the evening I was going through my WhatsApp messages when I stumbled on the shocking news of the death of Mummy, Mrs Roseline Adakayi. I had to read the message up to three times to be sure that I was reading the correct message. I was speechless. I was stunned. I was jolted.
My earliest encounter with Mrs Adakayi was just few years after I started working here in the University. I was involved in invigilating Sandwich exams that year and she was the administrative head of the Institute and so was always coming to the exams.
As a curious observer, I took early notice of her friendly disposition. She was always interacting with staff in a very friendly way. She had a strong and inviting aura.
I became naturally attracted to her because of her positive disposition and calmness. In 2015, I relocated from Gwagwalada to the University Staff Quarters Giri and I was given a house close to her house in the Quarters. I was so excited.
From the moment we packed in, Mummy Adakayi welcomed us with open arms and adopted myself and my family as her children. Every now and then, she will come to check on us to ensure that we were OK. For every birthday in my house, she had a gift for the celebrant. Each time the kids were going back to school, she will always come around to pray for them and to give them gifts.
When we didn't have a car, she volunteered to drive us to places that we needed to go to once in a while. Mummy was our counselor and spiritual adviser.
Mrs Adakayi was a complete human being. She was an exemplification of a true Christian. She was kind, caring, gentle, loving, humble and humane.
She was totally dedicated to her job. She was always out early on her way to work and stays in the office till close of work.
It is painful to lose such a wonderful soul like Mummy Adakayi but we cannot question the Creator since He knows the end from the beginning. Whatever He does is perfect even if we don't fully understand.
We are grateful to God for the gift of Mummy Adakayi. My family and I are grateful to have had such a wonderful and glorious relationship with her. Surely her memories will live forever in us.
Despite the protracted nature of the ailment she suffered that eventually took her life, she kept the faith. She maintained her composure and soldiered on till the last minute.
Mummy we will always love you. Thank you for all your sacrifices for us. Thank you for loving us so dispassionately and unconditionally. Thank you so much for your numerous sacrifices. We love you but God loves you most. Adieu Mummy! Adieu the virtuous woman! Adieu the beautiful one! Adieu the impeccable woman of valour! May your soul rest in perfect peace.
