NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT OF THE 2026 UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA RECRUITMENT APTITUDE TEST

The University wishes to inform all shortlisted candidates that the Aptitude Test earlier scheduled for Saturday, 20 June 2026, has been postponed.

The postponement is to enable the University to conclude final administrative and logistical arrangements necessary to ensure a smooth, fair and efficient conduct of the exercise.

A new date and further details will be communicated to candidates through their registered email addresses in due course.

*Selflessness: The Path to true Greatness*
I have not written for about two weeks now. I can consciously remember that the last message I pushed out to my numerous readers was on Easter Sunday.

Ever since then, a lot of people who receive my messages on weekly basis including some distinguished scholars and colleagues have been reaching out to me to find out why I have not been writing.

Nothing is actually wrong and I have not suffered from any mental block as well. As a matter of fact I am born to write.

Our world today has been engrossed in selfishness of alarming proportions. A lot of people only think and care about themselves and their families and nothing more. The welfare and wellbeing of others do not matter to them. This is a poor way of living.

But have you given a thought to the fact that our world can be a better and beautiful place if we think less of ourselves and more of others? Sacrificial living is the best way to live.

Yes, this can be a very crazy philosophy and very difficult to understand but in real life, what gives joy and lasting fulfillment is what we do for others and not necessarily what we do for ourselves.

Selflessness is indeed the path to true and lasting greatness. We rise higher by lifting others. We attain greatness by helping others achieve greatness in life.

In life, it is either you are a blessing to others or you are a lesson to them. I prefer to be a blessing to other people than being a lesson to them for in being a blessing to them, they too can learn from me as well.

Positive living entails being a source of joy and strength to others. It means sharing the joys and sorrows of others. It means bearing their burdens. Of a truth the world needs more burden bearers to move forward.

Reach out and touch people with love. A lot of people are yearning to be touched. Others are desirous of being shown love even in the smallest measure and magnitude. Let us be a vehicle through which people will experience true love and peace and in so doing realize their humanity to the fullest. Try a little kindness!
