How I got people to pay me to think

This might not be what most of you want to hear, but I will say it...

The truth is that most Nigerians are actually very mentally lazy

Some of you don't think....

and that's why you're not making good money.

Some opportunities are looking at you everyday, but you have refused to use your inner eye.

Some of you have hidden skills & talents that can make you a millionaire but you're too shallow minded.

You don't want to use your head!

I have been paid for thinking...

In my 400l, I discovered students in my Dept had difficulties coming up with seminar topics.

Because of my strong background in Biochemistry, that's ABC to me, I could easily come up with topics just by thinking for 5min

So I started charging to give student seminar topics.

I charge very low for it Intentionally. My fee was between N500 to N1,500.

But that's not were I make the most money, I make the main money because most of the students I give topics come back for me to write their seminar and project.

.and I charge between 10k to 50k for that.

I have made over 700k with this strategy

Thinking is a skill...

Just by thinking lately, I have come up with 2 business ideas this month.

One for an offline business & the other for an online business. I will setup atleast one of them.

Stop complaining... Start looking for opportunities, think, think, think, think, think, think!!!

When you give people value, they become in-depthed to you & they will start seeing you as an authority.

So when you have something to sell, they will easily buy because you have primed them.

How to develop a saving culture

1. Decide to start saving from your income today!

It can be 10%, 20% or as high as 50%

Without a firm decision, you can't do anything!!!

Confidently and bodly tell yourself that you will start saving today...

Then next thing you want to do is to commit to take action

Most people are good with talking, but they are very bad with taking action

Those category of people will never go far in life

2. Open a savings account and put your savings there everymonth

Don't use your regular bank account to save

Don't try it.... You will just spend the money

If you can't open a bank account, you can use tools like piggyvest, cowryrise, kuda bank, risevest to save

3. Give yourself a goal

.and commit to achieve your goal

Give yourself a saving goal and learn to *REWARD* yourself when you achieve the goal

It is very important you reward yourself anytime you achieve your goal

When you reward yourself, your brain releases endorphin which makes it easier for you to achieve future goals

4. If possible, get yourself an accountability partner

Savings won't be that easy for you especially when you're starting out...

With an accountability partner, it will be much easier for you to achieve your goal

They will keep you motivated.

Your accountability partner should be someone you trust

5. Be consistent

Make it an habit

Make sure you save everymonth

.and lastly, don't save to save, save to INVEST!

If you save to save or you save for rainy days, there will always be rainy days

.and guess what?

You will eat your savings

.and this will take you back to square one.

Except it's a matter of life & death, don't touch your savings anyhow

You need to be very discipline and you need to learn to delay GRATIFICATION
