1. Contracted immediately by schools to teach remotely (from wherever they are based) by appearing on large screens in their classrooms to hold live, interactive lesson sessions with their students.

2. Hired by parents for remote home tutoring services by appearing on their TVs, laptops, tablets, and phones to help their children with their studies.

OUR SHORT-TERM GOAL:

By the end of 2025, we should have fully integrated our proprietary AI systems into the core framework so that:

1. Quality assurance would be fully automated, ensuring that every teacher in the Africa Virtual Teaching Service is either absolutely qualified and competent to teach, or they are put through a solid capacity-building, on-demand, self-paced, simplified, and effective training system.

2. Teachers will have access to high-tech tools that will make it possible for them to research, compile, and prepare teaching resources that will be turned into intuitive learning resources for students at an unprecedented scale with impacts that will transcend what is humanly possible.

In 2004, we started the idea of creating "Online Portals" for schools instead of ordinary websites.

I’m excited about the huge possibilities that EdNet is creating for teachers in Africa!

First, let me mention the fact that contrary to the widely accepted misconception that teaching is a low-paying job, the future future actually belongs to teachers!

With the exciting new possibilities that EdNet is bringing into the teaching profession, teachers across Africa will soon begin to experience the same level of success and prestige that any other profession offers.

That is, teachers that are ready to redefine their careers, develop themselves, unlearn, relearn, build new competences and adopt technology!

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when there was an urgent need for creating emergency alternatives to conventional schooling, we had inducted about 500 teachers into the iSchoolCLOUD Virtual School, but unfortunately, over 90% of those teachers couldn’t carry out any meaningful virtual teaching activity, either due to lack of appropriate devices; or because they were not tech-savvy enough!

However, 4 years later, that number is no longer the case.
