The TO-DO LIST
A to-do list is a tool for organizing tasks and remembering what needs to be done. It helps prioritize tasks, track progress and ensure nothing is forgotten.

A well-maintained to-do list can also make you appear in control by providing a clear picture of what needs to be done.

A to-do list could be prepared for daily, weekly or period for when a project or event is around the corner, and basically requires a pen and paper, a digital note pad/organizer or a project management software.

To-do lists offer improved organization, increased productivity, reduced stress and anxiety, enhanced memory, and better time management.

An effective to-do list shouldn't be complex or difficult to put together; the rule should be:
1. Keep it concise by focusing on most important tasks and avoid so many tasks on the list.
2. Prioritize tasks by identifying the most important tasks and ensure they are completed first.
3. Break down large tasks into smaller more manageable tasks that build up to actualizing the larger tasks.
4. Set deadlines to each task to help you stay on track and avoid missing deadlines.
5. Regularly review and update your list to reflect your current priorities and strike out completed tasks.
