The BSc (Hons) Pre-registration Nursing is a three year, full time programme.

After successfully completing this degree course, students will be Registered Nurse, with all the skills and knowledge they need to make a real difference to people’s lives.

Degree: BSc (Hons) Pre-registration Nursing

Entry Criteria: IELTS 6.0 / 12 years formal schooling with equivalent of 5 GCSE grades (grades 4-9) including Maths (Extended foundation is available from IELTS 5.5)

Start Dates: September and January

Tuition fee: £13,755

Progression available to:
· BSc (Hons) Pre-Registration Nursing (Adult) OR,

· BSc (Hons) Pre-Registration Nursing (Children), OR

· BSc (Hons) Pre-Registration Nursing (Mental Health)

Progression requirements: There are two stages to progression, firstly students must achieve the pass grades required, secondly they must be successful at interview.

Progression requirements to guaranteed interview are:

• 60% average on Foundation modules

• 7.0 IELTS (can only be IELTS – no alternative; all elements at 7.0 except for listening which can be at 6.5)

• Personal Statement

If students do not meet these entry criteria there are a host of other Life Science based progression available with lower entry requirements.
