It was a real honour to be entrusted with planning the 2024 Nigeria HIV Prevention Conference organized by the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) in collaboration with the UN System, PEPFAR and other National & International Organizations working in the HIV response in Nigeria. Held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel and the Army Resource Centre Abuja on 7-9 May 2024, the hybrid event had an oversubscribed attendance of 450+ physical and 1600+ virtual participants.

It was a very engaging week coordinating the activities of the Nigeria delegates to the 4th Turkiye-Africa Business and Economic Forum (TABEF 2023) 13-14 October 2023 which hosted 24 Countries and 3900 participants

Nigeria scored a big win being one of the only two Countries at the event priviledged to have been listed on the agenda for a joint session with Turkiye-Nigeria Business Council (TNBC)/country presentation.

The B2B sessions were oversubscribed as Nigeria's tables had to be increased from two, set up for each participating country to six due to the interest raised after the powerful presentation by the trio of Mr. Hakan Ozel- President, (TNBC-DEIK); Mr. Dele Kelvin Oye, Chairman of
(NTBC-DEIK)/ National President (NACCIMA) and the Nigerian Ambassador to Turkiye, Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf

We also found time to pay a visit to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB) where we advocated for the issue of restoration of the E-visa to Nigerians to encourage the ease of doing business

It was a great privilege to coordinate Nigeria's participation and moderate Nigeria's session at this important event between Turkiye and Africa. NTBC continues to work in close partnership with the Turkiye Embassy in Nigeria, TNBC-DEIK to expand trade relations between Nigeria and Turkiye.
