CELEBRATING GALAXY HEROES/HEROINES

To mark the International Day of the girl child on 11th October, 2021, our pupils and students participated in a creative writing competition where issues relating to the girl child were raised. Some of these issues are:
1. Child Labour
2. Early/forced marriage
3. Female ge***al mutilation
4. Domestic Violence
5. Sexual harassment etc.

At the end of the competition, two winners with the best submission emerged:

Winner Junior Category
Madu Marvelous

The participants of the competition thereafter went on an educational tour to BASIC RIGHT WATCH, an NGO saddled with the mission and vision to ensure that the rights of the girl child are protected.

It was an exhilarating experience as our pupils were further informed and enlightened on the basic rights of the girl child.

Some of our pupils won interesting prizes while two exceptional pupils Ariyo Emmanuel and Adogah Anita won the CEO of BASIC RIGHT WATCH for 5 minutes each where they made decisions and suggestions in running the organization.
