For 10 years, I have carried The Swanstowe School in my heart like my own child.
I have watched it grow, struggle, survive, and keep going because I believe that education is not just a business, it is a community calling.
Over the years, there were moments when the school could barely breathe… yet somehow, God always made a way.
In those moments, I looked at the children whose parents couldn’t afford fees, especially teachers who spend their lives shaping other people’s children and I could never turn them away.
From my pocket, quietly and without announcement, I have sponsored about 5 families so their children would not drop out.
It wasn’t always easy. Many times it meant sacrificing personal comfort.
But I believe every child deserves a chance to sit in a safe classroom, learn with dignity, and dream without limits.
Now, I have realised something very important:
If we want this vision to truly survive and grow,
I can no longer carry it alone.
It is time to open the doors wider.
It is time to let the community help the community.
Today, I’m launching the Teachers’ Child Education Support Scheme (TESS) .
A scholarship dedicated to supporting the children of teachers who give so much, yet often struggle to afford quality education.
This term, we want to test-run with 10 children, but our dream is to support 40-45 children in whole as we conceding 40% capacity of the school to this scheme and the remaining 60% for full fees payments for those who are not teachers.
This scheme is aimed at teachers whose salaries are N200,000 monthly and below.
To do this, I am humbly asking for your support.
Every contribution, big or small goes directly into keeping a child in school, maintaining the standard of education, keeping teachers employed, and keeping this community alive.
