The GDLN Affiliates are designed to collaborate in holding events that connect people across countries and regions for learning and dialogue on development issues, along with collaboration with best-in-class institutions around the world to offer various training and skills development courses. Offering a combination of distant learning tools such as interactive video conferencing, the Internet, and expert facilitation and learning techniques, the GDLN Affiliates enable individuals, teams and organizations around the world to communicate, share knowledge and learn from each others’ experience in a timely and cost-effective manner. In December 2010, the Federal government directed that the GDLI Abuja be concessioned to a qualified Management Partner for the purpose of putting the facility into productive operational mode geared towards meeting the goals and objectives of the global network. After a rigorous application and selection process spanning over 12 months, AfriHUB Nigeria Ltd was selected to manage and operate the GDLI Abuja in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria. Today, GDLI is positioned to deliver on its mandate with affiliations with various UK universities for the teaching of bachelors and Masters courses, License from NBTE for the award of National Diplomas and Collaboration with Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, CIW and PMI for teaching and professional test centre agent for their various courses.
