Life had taught me lessons. I do not see people at my cross road, because humans are not reliable. I only see God as the author and finisher of my faith.

When you live your life without anyone betraying, hurting, disappointing, disgracing or offending you, then it means you never did anything worthy.

The beauty of life, is that it comes with disappointments and betrayals, from people you least expect.

Unfortunately, some of us spend so much time crying over these betrayals and disappointments, and end up becoming victims of all circumstances.

Remember One Thing: Holding unto anger is like knocking your head on the wall and expecting the other person to feel the pain. You are only hurting yourself.

The fact is that the world is full of annoying, naughty, stupid and ungrateful people, and you will always come across them at one point or another in life. But the best thing to do, is to deal with them with wisdom and maturity.

You can’t get everyone to love you, think like you or behave like you... never.

We must learn to tolerate and overlook certain things, we must try to bury the faults of others and move on with life.

Anger, Hatred and Intolerance have caused most of the world's problems and solved none.

Life is short, you don't know how much time you have left.

I beseech you to take the pain and forgive that special person you hold grudges against, and iron out your grievances.

Muster the courage and apologise to that person you have offended.

Life is not measured by the amount of money, houses or companies you have, but by the positive impact you have made in the lives of others.

In your first 24 hours, you lay on my chest and you lifted your head up to look at me. All the books said you shouldn’t be able to do that yet, but you’d not read the book, or any of the other parenting manuals, so you’ve never really followed the suggested timeline of things. You’ve always written your own pages, developed at your own pace and done your growing up on your own terms. I hope you know that I admire you hugely for that.

TEXT: Isaiah 41: 10 – 13.
'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee shall
be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee'.
God assured Jacob in the text read that He will help him, just as God is assuring us in this program that help has come at last. Jacob was in a season at that time just as many of us are experiencing our season. But the Lord that changeth seasons and
time is here to change your season from a breakdown season to a breakthrough season, in the name of Jesus. Jacob was in a season
of helplessness, hopelessness and fear in Genesis 30, 31 and 32.

When he looked behind him, he saw his uncle Laban who had employed and oppressed him for 20 years and would not let him go. In front of him was Esau, his brother, with 400 soldiers. Esau had not forgiven him and had vowed to kill him for stealing his blessing 20 years earlier. He was a victim of ancient animosity and perpetual unforgiveness. Jacob had sent emissaries and gifts to his brother, Esau, to appease him for the wrong he had done but he was not moved. There are some people within our families that are too difficult to please. The more you try to please them, the more they became angry. That was what Jacob was experiencing in the hands of Laban and Esau. They will not let him go.

Enough is enough! You Laban of my father's house, you Esau of
my father's house, let me go.

Then Jacob cried to God in an all-night wrestling match. He prayed for help and God's intervention. His prayer was intentional, targeted and a shift in attitude. It recognized that if no one would help him, God will. He was alone with God in a vigil. Sometimes, it is important for us to go to the secret place and be alone with God over certain matters of our life to pray intentionally and take our destinies as a project, especially if you have noticed some unpleasant patterns in your life or in your family. It may be necessary for us to go to a secluded place. Jesus did it in Mark 1: 35. That is an aspect of intentional living that every Christian must cultivate. Jacob's prayer vigil is to say, “Enough Is Enough” for his troubles. Then the help of God showed up for him. There is a saying that Prayerful Preparations Prevents Poor Performance. The moment Jacob became intentional about seeking God for divine help, that help located him. I pray for intentional believers that God will visit them, in the name of Jesus. The help that has eluded you for years will locate you this year, in the name of Jesus. The intentional “Enough Is Enough” prayer of Jacob ensured that when God's help came, Esau and his 40 soldiers were no match for Jacob. They all bowed to Jacob.
