FROM VOTERS UNION
Good morning members of the voters union, ladies and gentlemen and members of the press, you are welcome to Voters Union press briefing.

*MOTTO:*
United Voice Stronger Message
At Voters Union, we make democracy work for the people by building the bridge between voters and the voted.
This is necessary, because, in order to lead effectively, the people need political knowledge. If people know little or nothing about government, it becomes difficult to hold political leaders accountable or appreciate their good performance.
So we intend to form that bridge of communication that is currently lacking.
*HISTORIC BACKGROUND*
The decision to create voters union came about after a rigorous research for solution to boosting voters mood and increasing political participation.
Our findings indicate that since 1986, in more than 90 countries in five continents including United States and Malaysia, millions of citizens have joined nonpartisan election. Ordinary citizens are tired of playing politics with their lives. And therefore have made conscious decision for monitoring efforts that will safeguard electoral integrity, help create governmental and political accountability. And this is how we came together as voters union to do the same.
With Voters Union, protecting constituency integrity, protecting our votes, and election follow ups becomes easy. This will check the right of citizens to participate in public affairs without intimidation or favor.
The widespread development of nonpartisan election monitoring around the world is a tangible evidence of citizens' desire for responsive, transparent, and democratic governance achievable through voters education.
*OUR GOALS:*
Our goal is to increase the chance of peaceful and credible elections
*To minimize oppression and suppression of opposing voices.
*To reduce the toxicity in political atmospheres
* To maintain and improve relationship between the voters and the voted.
By providing voter education, election monitoring, vote protection, and constituency integrity, we are working to advance democratic goals and strengthening democratic institutions
We thank you for coming and
God Bless us all!
God Bless Nigeria!!

Albright and former U.S. National Security Adviser Stephen J. Hadley with the 2019 Democracy Award.
