IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL NAPPS MEMBERS

The National President has received a memo dated 8th May 2019 from the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria with subject:
"Reminder on 31st December 2019 Deadline for all Unqualified Teachers to Leave the Nigeria Classrooms"
This conveys the decision of the 62nd National Council on Education held at Kano in 2017 to the effect that all Unqualified Teachers get certified before 31st December 2019 or stop practicing the profession in Nigeria.

All NAPPS members should also note that not only unlicensed practitioners would be prosecuted but their employers also.
To this end all NAPPS members are urged to ensure compliance by asking their concerned teachers with non-teaching qualifications to acquire it and those who already have such qualifications to apply to TRCN for licensing and certification. Proprietors are also required to be licensed.

NAPPS has been a leading voice in the advocacy for the restoration of high standards in the education sector especially through the use of qualified and certified professionals as such, we cannot be found wanting.

Kindly visit trcn.gov.ng for details.

Thank you.
