They show up with anxiety buzzing in their chest
not because of deadlines,
but because they left their 4-month-old with someone they barely trust.
We celebrate working women.
But do we understand what it costs to be one?

The guilt.
The hard choices.
We say “Women should return to work.”
But many come back already planning to quit.
Why?
Because there’s no support. No crèche. No grace.

“She’ll figure it out.”
That’s what everyone says.
But she’s barely hanging on.

But what if she didn’t have to “figure it out”?
What if support was built in?
