2025 WAEC CANDIDATES TAKE NOTE https://www.facebook.com/100057493447825/posts/1149596820300089/

BREAKING NEWS!

*Summary of WAEC Briefing for Principals*
1. Candidates examination details for customised question papers must be strictly adhered to when distributing.
2. This year, the following subjects (English 1 & 3, Biology 1, Mathematics 1 and Economics 1) will be customised per candidate, meaning that each candidate will have a different question set customised alongside their OMR paper.
3. In a case where a student's customised paper is missing or not included, the supervisor is to issue the candidate an 'emergency question paper' and a "plain OMR sheet".

The implication is that no two candidates will have same question set.
Let's all encourage our children to work extra hard, especially those in exam classes. Days of dependence on examination malpractice will soon be over.

Allow them more time for studies. This holiday period, if your house is not conducive for serious academic work locate a place they can isolate to read. Give them every encouragement you can. Ensure they have all required books.

FINALLY, THE POLYTECHNICS IN NIGERIA WILL HAVE THEIR OWN DEDICATED COMMISSION.

RE: A BILL FOR AN ACT TO ESTABLISH NATIONAL POLYTECHNICS COMMISSION TO SUPERVISE, REGULATE AND CO-ORDINATE POLYTECHNIC EDUCATION IN NIGERIA, AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS (HB. 673)

Did you know that:

1. Polytechnics are the only arm of tertiary education in Nigeria without a dedicated Commission?

2. That the National Board for Technical Education which currently supervises the Polytechnics, regulates over 600 institutions, including vocational and sub-tertiary education institutions, with Polytechnics being the only tertiary institution in this mixture, and therefore suffering poor regulation as a result?

3. That apart from Universities which are regulated by the National Universities Commission, lesser education entities also have dedicated Commissions:

A. Primary Schools- Universal Basic Education Commission

B. Secondary Schools- National Senior Secondary Education Commission

C. Colleges of Education- National Commission for Colleges of Education

D. Nomadic Education- National Commission for Nomadic Education.

Considering the importance of science and Technology in Nigeria’s quest for greatness, you begin to wonder why the neglect of Polytechnic education all these years.

The need for a dedicated Commission for Polytechnics is rooted in the urgent need to properly regulate Polytechnics in the direction of providing skilled technical and technological manpower to serve the needs of Nigeria, especially as it struggles to compete in a dynamic global system where science and technology has become a dominant index of national power.

It was, therefore, a thing of joy when my colleagues unanimously gave their support for the Second Reading of my Bill for an Act to Establish National Polytechnics Commission To Supervise, Regulate And Co-ordinate Polytechnic Education In Nigeria, And Other Related Matter. ( HB.673)

Don't worry
https://www.facebook.com/100057493447825/posts/1115361297056975/

Good Day!
If you’ve misplaced your passport with an approved U.S. visa, here’s what you should do:

1. Report the Loss Immediately:

Local Police: File a police report to document the loss or theft. Get a copy of the report as it may be required later.

Passport Issuing Authority: Report the loss to your home country's passport office or embassy.

2. Apply for a New Passport:

Follow your home country’s procedure to get a replacement passport.

You may need to provide the police report and other identification documents.

3. Report Your Lost Visa to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate:

Visit the official website of the U.S. embassy or consulate in your country.

Report the lost/stolen visa through their online portal or by visiting in person.

You might need to provide:

A copy of the police report

Your passport details

Details of the lost visa (visa number, type, and issuance date if known)

4. Apply for a New Visa:

Unfortunately, U.S. visas cannot be reissued. You must apply for a new visa.

Complete a new DS-160 visa application form.

Pay the visa fee again.

Schedule an interview (even if previously waived).

Bring the following to your interview:

New passport

Police report

Any documents related to the lost visa

Proof of prior visa approval (if available)

5. Monitor Your Visa Status:

Sometimes, the U.S. embassy may put the lost visa on a watchlist to prevent misuse.
