Escaping struggle is hard. But marrying the wrong mindset can drag you right back.
If you come from a struggling background and are determined to change your narrative, be mindful of who you choose to marry. Avoid marrying someone from a similar background who isn’t equally committed to growth and breaking generational cycles. If you do marry from the same background, make sure that person shares the same mindset and drive for change. Otherwise, despite all your efforts, you might find yourself stuck in the same circumstances you fought so hard to escape. Who you marry matters. Choose intentionally
