NTIC Model United Nations Club visited the United Nations House Abuja on June 18th to celebrate the International Day for Countering Hate Speech. The delegates learned about the UN's history, UNESCO's role in promoting education, science, culture, and communication for peace and security, and the importance of international cooperation.

Presentation of certificates to NTIC Co-education Model United Nations team of delegates to the LFMPMUN (Lyse Franchise Marcel Panyiol Model United Nations Conference) The team comprising five delegates representing their various countries and committees, deliberated on issues concerning their various countries and the world in general.
The delegates in the three days conference, had a whole lot of experience on mastering the skills of negotiation, public speaking, research, diplomatic discussion, time management and lobbying in a diplomatic setting.

NTIC VISIT TO THE NIGERIAN AIR FORCE BASE FOR THE NAF OPEN DAY FOR STUDENTS
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Wednesday the 14th of May 2024 displayed its fighter aircraft, accoutrements and other facilities to the public as โOpen Dayโ activities to commemorate its 61st Anniversary Celebration.
A total of 25 students were invited from NTIC Cambridge and waec sections. The students were welcomed by the warm hands of the Commander, 307 Executive Airlift Group Abuja, Air Commodore Mohammed Ahmed, who said it was a good thing having civilians particularly students to see what the Air Force does.
The first point of call was the Nigerian Air Force Base , Abuja where students were introduced to the k9 unit of the air force and also introduced to the various uniforms of the air force , and what they use their different uniforms for, and how they are positioned around the country.
Thereafter, all students were transported to the hangar, Executive Airlift group of the Nigerian Air Force where the students had the rare opportunity of not just seeing the various air assets on display, but also to have a feel of these aircrafts, ask questions and got clarifications on issues as regards the military profession as a whole.
Air planes on display at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja included Super Tucano, Maritime Patrol aircraft, L39 Alpha jets ,Bell EC135 Helicopter, falcon presidential jet, atak helicopter dornier 228 , and many others on display.
The climax of the visit was when the female students had an opportunity of talking to the one and only female helicopter pilot in attendance, Pilot Felicia Nwokoye and she was really happy to talk to the students and share her experience on the pros and cons of the job, and her journey through the years .
