A situation in which sentences that come after a sentence show relations through their vocabulary is referred to as lexical equivalence.
Examples:
1. Sarah was barren at a time. She was tagged childless until God changed her narrative.

2. The boy was rude to his friends. Despite being disrespectful to them, they forgave him.

In the first example, barren and childless are lexical equivalents.

Rude and disrespectful are lexical equivalents for sentence two.
