How to convince a prospect or buyer to purchase your product?

Alot of people feel scared to talk to a prospect or potential buyer or even don't know how to communicate their values in a convincing way.

Here is a tip:

Always talk from the buyer's perspective. Don't start with the qualities of your service or product. Start by telling your buyer what He or She stands to benefit from purchasing your product or what He or She can lose if action is not taken to solve that particular problem.

You know all those aunties and uncles that replies you with
' I will get back to you'
' I will think about it'
' it's too expensive'

Here is how to handle them ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

No one wants to hear NO from a customer after spending time and energy trying to convince them to buy.

The truth of the matter is, this is inevitable in sales. And if you are going to be a successful business owner you have to get used to hearing NOs.

The best part is, if you reach out to 100 people a day with a good sale technique at least 7 people will buy from you. Imagine what that would do to your business if you could reach more people. You could reach more people with digital marketing.

So let's get to ๐‡๐จ๐ฐ ๐“๐จ ๐‡๐š๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ž ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ž๐›๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งs.

1.

When a customer says I will get back to you. It means that they are not fully convinced that your product is best for them or they have some reservations concerning your brand. What you should do in this type of situation is to probe further with questions like:

"I totally understand, I myself do like to take my time before I buy things but I'm a bit curious, Do you have any concerns about the product?
" Any reasons why you would love to take your time before making a decision?

Now, this questions get them to reveal their minds to you. You would know If they are ready to buy or not. Or you would be able to shed more light on any concerns that they might have for your product and get them to make a buying decision.

2.

When a customer says it's too expensive.

In this situation, what you should do is ask what their budget is? And show them another valuable product of yours that can solve their problem with a lesser price.

Don't reduce your price.

3.

When a customer says I will think about it.

Here, what you do is to ask questions again.

"I understand, you can take your time, but may I know why you can't make this decision right now?" Then, further show them the possible consequences of not making that buying decisions now.

e.g if you sell dishwasher, show them how much of inconvenience they could experience if they fail to buy the dishwasher.

Or how much money they will keep losing if they fail to solve the problem your products could solve for them.

Spike their interest again and get them to make that decision.

Note: not every customer is yours, some may not be ready to buy at that time. But always follow up with anyone that has ever shown interest in you. This is because you want them to keep you in mind so that when they are ready, you will be their plug. Or they may not buy from you but could refer you.

This is the type where you create rich content to attract your target customers. You provide valuable information that your customers need, you nurture them ,till they become actual paying customers. You use this approach to attract the right customers to you rather than going after them. Blogging, youtube, social media posts are good channels for inbound marketing.

2. ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ :

This is the use of paid Ads on social media or google, tv adverts, newspaper adverts, Cold calling, sales campaign, trade shows, and exhibitions etc.

You can choose based on your resources, business type, target market or audience.

But, It's best to combine the two marketing strategies for more effectiveness.
