Those who withhold Allah’s bounty and blessings, not paying zakat, not even sharing with their relatives, hoarding their wealth thinking it is their right to hold on to it; it is not good for them. They may think they control the wealth, but they squander and waste it easily, and they fall deeper into sin. They need to struggle against their desires and strive against the accumulation of wealth, position, and power. They want to be praised by others and be envied, but this is evil for them, and Allah warned us that all the hoarded wealth will be tied around their necks on the Day of Judgment, they will be exposed and they will regret having not shared it when they had the chance.
