THE DEMIGOD.
When Harbor Group Ltd., a once-thriving organization, began to lose its shine, no one could immediately point to the cause. The CEO, Mr. Kareem, was a visionary, respected, dynamic, and passionate about innovation. But somewhere along the line, he began to rely too heavily on a small inner circle, trusted aides, who whispered advice into his ears and filtered every truth that reached his desk.
They called themselves The Core Team, but the rest of the organization quietly called them The Cabal. To the CEO, they were indispensable; to everyone else, they were the gatekeepers of decay. They controlled access, manipulated decisions, and redefined loyalty. Anyone who dared to question their motives was branded “rebellious” or “disloyal” and eventually pushed out.
Under the facade of efficiency, they began to milk the organization diverting contracts, inflating expenses, and awarding favors to themselves and their cronies. They disguised greed as loyalty, incompetence as strategy, and manipulation as wisdom. The CEO, blinded by trust, believed they were protecting him, not realizing they were protecting themselves.
As time passed, genuine, competent professionals those with expertise and integrity were frustrated and forced out. The company’s growth stalled, innovation died, mediocrity became the new normal. Yet, the cabal grew stronger, positioning themselves as untouchable demigods in the land of the fearful.
But cracks began to appear. A few directors started noticing patterns, the same people always influencing decisions, the same consultants winning bids, the same stories repeated with different disguises. One director, Mrs. Tade, decided to investigate quietly. What she found was shocking: the organization had become a puppet show run by its own insiders.
At the next strategic retreat, she spoke up boldly
“An organization dies not because of external enemies, but because of internal blindness. When those entrusted to protect the house start looting the foundation, collapse becomes inevitable. Every director must wake up—learn the language of finance, technology, and operations. Do not depend solely on filtered reports. Understand the business technically and practically. Trust is not a substitute for vigilance.”
Her words hit like thunder. The CEO, shaken and humbled, began to reexamine his circle. Policies were restructured, processes digitized, and accountability introduced. The cabal fought back, but the truth had already found light.
The story of The Demigod became a lesson across industries
No matter how visionary a leader is, when vigilance dies, cabals rise. And when cabals rise, competence fall.
Nothing beats Knowledge
Be intentional in exposing yourself with pools of information on a daily.
Make sure you are consistently reading and implementing.
The most important things to do before reading any book is to understand the reason why you want to read the book.
Understanding the reason why you take up the book to read will facilitate understanding and comprehension and allow you to see the big lessons in the chapters of the book.

This year, I have decided to work with teachers, I have decided to redefine the true essence of teaching and core values needed by the teachers to raise kings and giants in the society.

This is the reason why you should be very conscious of the quality of teachers in your school.
There is a level of standard that your school must attained to attract the right parents and students, this is another reason why you must not not joke with the standard of your teachers.
Make it a habit to train your teachers periodically because they are the back home if your school.

Our Educational system should be able to offer the following life skills requirement of a knowledge based economy to the citizenry.
1. Knowledge in the form of versatility and flexibility, not simply the ability to store and reproduce facts and figures.
2. Communication skills, the capacity to appreciate the views and feelings of others to convey one's own feelings and opinions in ways that help to sustain personal and working relationships.
3. Availability : a willingness to venture into novel situations, new ideas, Novel working and living conditions, new knowledge areas, new working and thinking tools.
4. Creativity : a strong drive to go beyond the well trodden path.
5. Team spirit : an acceptance of the principles of group cohesiveness, the team being more important than any of its individual members.
6. I.T fluency : a mastery of ICT as a thinking, research communication and working tool.
