It was Wrapped up OSCE Examination Today 26th August, 2026 at Al-Baz College Of Health Sciences and Technology, Jalingo, as our students participate in the 2026 National Qualifying Examination organized by Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN).

It marks the end of a three (3) day practical examination and project assessment where the examiners assessed the students' practical knowledge, skills, professionalism, and competence acquired throughout their training at the college.

We wish all our candidates success in the examination.

It is with gratitude to Almighty God that I announce the approval for Al-baz College of Health Science and Technology, Jalingo, to offer degree programs in the following courses.
1. BSc. Public Health Science
2. BSc. Environmental Health Science
3. BSc. Microbiology

This approval comes after the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the College and Taraba State University Jalingo, to which the College is now fully affiliated.

Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo Affiliation Committee Visits Al-Baz College of Health Sciences and Technology Jalingo for Resource Verification

7th July 2026

In a significant step toward expanding healthcare education in Taraba State, a high-powered delegation from Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, has paid an official assessment visit to the Al-Baz College of Health Sciences and Technology, Jalingo.
The visit follows an official request for affiliation by the college to the Management of the University.
The TSU delegation was led by Professor Bakari Aliyu, the Director of Academic Planning, alongside Dr. Rhoda Saminaka Onyekwena the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Mr Bubayero Idris Mafindi the secretary of the University Affiliation Committee among others.
Upon arrival, the university team was warmly received by the Management and staff of Al-Baz College of Health Sciences and Technology Jalingo. The college is seeking Affiliations to run Degree Programme in the following field
1. BSc. Public Health Science
2. BSc. Environmental Health Science
3. BSc. Microbiology

The primary objective of the visit was to conduct a comprehensive, first-hand assessment of the collegeā€™s facilities, academic structure, and resources to ensure they align with the rigorous standards required for university affiliation.
During the visit, the delegation inspected several critical areas, including:
* Practical demonstration laboratories
* Lecture halls and e-library facilities
* Clinical training equipment
* staff offices and Academic documents

The management of the college expressed their deep appreciation for the visit, reiterating their commitment to maintaining high standards of education and expressing optimism for a fruitful partnership with TSU.
If approved, the affiliation will significantly boost the academic profile of the college, allowing it to offer expanded programs and graduate highly qualified healthcare professionals to meet the growing demands of the state and national healthcare sectors.
