This engagement supports the agency’s upcoming mass enrollment of vulnerable populations into the state healthcare scheme across all 484 wards in the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen access to healthcare services and expand community participation in the Basic Health Care Provision Fund programmes. Selected applicants will play an important role in supporting community-based health insurance enrollment and promoting awareness of the scheme.

Successful applicants will be expected to perform the following responsibilities:

Register new beneficiaries into the state health insurance scheme

Provide community sensitization on the Basic Health Care Provision Fund programmes

Conduct advocacy visits to community leaders and gatekeepers including Ward Development Committees within assigned communities

Support community engagement activities aimed at increasing enrollment and awareness of the health scheme

Applicants must be willing to work within their Local Government Area of residence and collaborate with community stakeholders to achieve enrollment targets.
