"Let the Little Children Come to Me”
Good morning E.A.P.A family!
Today we reflect on a beautiful moment in the Bible that reminds us how much every child matters to God. In Mark 10:13-16, people brought little children to Jesus so He could bless them. But His disciples tried to send them away, thinking they weren’t important enough for His time.
Jesus was displeased and said, _“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”_ Then He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and blessed them.
This story speaks deeply to all of us. It reminds parents that children are not a distraction from important things—they are the important things. Every child deserves time, attention, love, and prayer. It’s through our care and listening that they first learn who God is.
For teachers, it’s a call to see every child as valuable and capable, no matter how quiet, noisy, or slow they may seem. Patience, kindness, and encouragement often teach more than correction alone. In our classrooms at E.A.P.A Schools, we strive to create a space where every child feels seen, safe, and encouraged to grow.
For children, it’s a reminder that you are loved by God just as you are. Jesus said the kingdom of God belongs to those with childlike hearts—hearts that trust, forgive quickly, wonder, and believe without doubt. You can always come to God in prayer, just like you come to your parents.
And for all of us as followers, it’s a call to humility. Faith is not about being the biggest, smartest, or most important. It’s about having a humble, trusting heart and seeing the world with the openness of a child.
At E.A.P.A Schools, we carry this truth into everything we do. We are not just teaching subjects; we are shaping hearts, building character, and helping every child know they are valued and loved by God.
May we all create homes, classrooms, and communities where children feel safe to come forward, ask questions, and grow in faith and knowledge.
Prayer for Today:
Lord Jesus, help us to have hearts like little children. Give parents patience, teachers wisdom, and children boldness to come to You. Amen.
What part of this story speaks to you most today?

*King Solomon* : What EAPA Learns About Wisdom
There was once a young king named Solomon. His father had just died, and now Solomon was in charge of a whole nation. It was a heavy job for someone so young. One night, God appeared to him in a dream and said, “Ask for whatever you want, and I will give it to you.”
Solomon could have asked for riches, long life, or victory over his enemies but instead, he said, “Give me an understanding heart so I can judge my people and know the difference between right and wrong.” God was pleased because Solomon asked for wisdom first. So God gave him wisdom, and along with it, the riches, honor, and peace he didn’t even ask for.
The most famous example of his wisdom came when two women came to him, both claiming to be the mother of the same baby. Instead of getting angry or picking sides quickly, Solomon said, “Cut the baby in half and give each woman a piece.” One woman agreed. The other cried out, “No! Give her the baby. Just don’t kill him.” In that moment, Solomon knew who the real mother was. Her love made her choose to lose rather than see her child harmed.
At Excellent A-Plus Academy, this story reminds us that wisdom is better than wants. Solomon could have asked for money or power, but he knew that without wisdom, you can’t handle either well. In school, when you ask for understanding first, the grades, the awards, and the opportunities will follow.
It also reminds us to listen before we judge. Solomon didn’t rush to decide. He created a situation where the truth revealed itself. When there’s a fight or misunderstanding at home or in class, don’t pick sides quickly. Listen carefully. Truth is usually quieter than noise.
And it shows us what real love looks like. The real mother chose to lose so her child could live. That kind of love puts someone else’s good before your own pride. That’s the kind of character we want to build in every EAPA student.
For our parents, Solomon didn’t become wise overnight. He asked for it, and he used it daily. Our job is to model that same pause, that same thoughtfulness, so our children learn to choose what’s right even when it’s hard.
EAPA Question for Today: If you had one request right now, would you ask for more money, more grades, or more wisdom? Tell us why in the comments. Let’s learn from each other
