Zithers are played by strumming or plucking the strings, either with the fingers (sometimes using an accessory called a plectrum or pick), sounding the strings with a bow or, with varieties of the instrument like the santur or cimbalom, by beating the strings with specially shaped hammers. A zither’s body serves as a resonating chamber but unlike guitars and lutes, a zither lacks a distinctly separate neck assembly. The number of strings varies, from one to more than fifty.

Wow! I would like my children to play the instruments. This is a wish from lots of parents but what goals have you set to achieve this in your children? What plans have you made to ensure that your goals are achieved? Remember "A goal without a plan is a wish". If you want your children to be great instrumentlists, set goals and work out a plan accordingly.

Why do you think your baby responds to your singing and attempts to make music? Simple! Music is in every human being because God put it there for development and healthy growth of the brain and intellect. Parents should tap into this and help the children develop better and smarter. They must not all be musicians eventually but they need the rhythm for quality education. Help your child find his or her rhythm.

Investing in music for your children is never a waste. Parents are often excited when their children show some inclination to music but they are not ready to invest for the children to play music properly. A good foundation in music is good for the development of the brain. Let your children make you a proud parent.

Dear friends,
Do you know that Music and Maths are highly intertwined? In order to read music you have to count notes and rhythms and by understanding beat, rhythm, and scales, children are learning how to divide, create fractions, and recognize patterns – this is one among several benefits your child gains from playing an instrument.
