The Prophet (saw) warned of the acts which tarnish brotherhood and sisterhood:
“Do not be envious of one another; do not artificially inflate prices against one another; do not hate one another; do not shun one another; and do not undercut one another in business transactions; and be as fellow-brothers and servants of Allah. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. Piety is here - and he pointed to his chest three times. It is evil enough for a Muslim to hold his brother Muslim in contempt. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for another Muslim: his blood, his property and his honor.”
The root disease of all these sins: ill will.
The cure: love and mercy.
Love and mercy are not slogans, but rather spiritual foundations for the believer. It does not mean you don't stand for your rights, truth, justice, or even your opinions. It simply means when you need to, you do so from a place of overflowing good will and genuinely caring as opposed to hate and anger... and that makes all the difference.
Since the Presidency is now committed to giving us Shekau alive, I think it is important to remind them that what Nigerians want is to alive not shekau.
Imaan (Faith) is like an airplane ride. The higher you go, the smaller the things on earth look.
Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can only be forgiven, not forgotten
TRY & FAST ON FRIDAY, IT'S THE DAY OF
'ARAFAH
Narrated Abu Qutaadah, that the
Messenger of Allaah (Sollallaahu alaehi wa
sallam) was asked about fasting on the day
of ‘Arafah (9th of DhuI-Hijja), whereupon
he (Sollallaahu 'alaehi wa sallam) said:
"It expiates the sins of the preceding year
and the coming year."
SAHIH MUSLIM (Book 6, Hadith 2603)
ABU DAAWUD (Book 13, Hadith 2419)
: There are some reports that
fasting is prohibited on the Day of 'Arafah.
However, it must be understood that this
refers to a person performing the Hajj. If a
person is on the Hajj, there is no fast for
him or her on the day of 'Arafah. That is
undoubtedly a blessing for him because of
the hardships of the pilgrimage.
In a saying reported by Umm al-Fadl, may
Allah be pleased with her, she said:
"The companions doubted whether the
Prophet was fasting on 'Arafah or not. She
decided to prove to them that he was not,
so she said, 'I sent to him milk, which he
drank while he was delivering the khutbah
(sermon) on 'Arafah."
[Recorded by al-BukhAari]
Prohibiting the pilgrims from fasting on
these days is a great mercy for them, for
fasting will exert undue hardship on the
person performing the Hajj, while they are
primarily concerned with their pilgrimage.
Above all, the pilgrim would not be fasting
anyway because he is travelling.
Fasting 'ARAFAH on FRIDAY without having
fasted Thursday or Saturday?
Tomorrow (Friday) is the day of 'ARAFAH.
The Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wasallam)
recommended fasting this day for those
who are not performing Hajj. He stated
that it wipes away the sins of the previous
and upcoming year. Singling out Friday to
fast is generally not allowed. However, due
to 'Arafah falling on a friday and intending
to fast this day because of 'Arafah and not
Friday is PERMISSIBLE. So you don't have to
fast a day before or after it as is the case
for when you do want to fast a Friday. This
ruling also applies to other recommend
days to fast that fall on a Friday such as
'Aashuraa' etc. And Allah knows best. May
Allah accept our fasting. Please spread the
word.
HOW TO PERFORM GHUSL(RITUAL BATH) IN
ISLAAM
"""""""""""""""""""""""
Shared By ADEYANJU JAMIU (Abu Naasir)
Bismillah Rahmoni Roheem
There are two ways you can do Ritual birth in
Islaam, and both ways are acceptable
~First way(Compulsary)
It is as follows
= 1. Form the intention to purify oneself from
impurity: janaabah (impurity following s*xual
discharge), me**es or nifaas (postpartum
bleeding).
= 2. Wash the entire body with water once,
making sure that the water reaches the roots
of the hair and the places that it cannot
reach easily, such as the armpits and backs
of the knees, as well as rinsing the mouth
and nose, according to the correct scholarly opinion.
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have
mercy on him) said in al-Sharh al-
Mumti’ (1/423):
The evidence that this ghusl is valid is the
words of Allaah (interpretation of the meaning):
“If you are in a state of Janaaba
(i.e. after a s*xual discharge), purify
yourselves (bathe your whole body)” [al-
Maa’idah 5:6].
Allaah did not mention anything apart from
that. If a person washes his entire body once, then it is true to say that he has
purified himself.
~
Second way(complete form)
As for the complete form, it is as follows
= 1. Form the intention in the heart to purify oneself from major impurity: janaabah
(impurity following s*xual discharge), me**es
or nifaas (post partum bleeding).
=
2. Then say Bismillah and wash the hands
three times, then wash any dirt from the
private part.
= 3. Then do wudoo’ as for prayer, a complete
wudoo’.
=
4. Then pour water over the head three
times, and rub the hair so that the water
reaches the roots of the hair.
= 5. Then wash the body, making sure that the water reaches all parts, starting with the
right side of the body and then the left, and
rubbing it with the hands so that the water
reaches the entire body.
The evidence for this mustahabb form of
ghusl is: It was narrated that 'Aa’ishah (may Allaah be
pleased with her) said:
''When the Messenger
of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be
upon him) did ghusl for janaabah, he would
wash is hands and do wudoo’ as for prayer,
then he would wash himself, then he would run his fingers through his hair, then when
he thought that it [the water] had reached
his skin, he would pour water over it [the
head] three times, then he would wash the
rest of his body.''
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (248 and Muslim (316).
And it was narrated that she(may Allaah be
pleased with her) said: When the Messenger
of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be
upon him) did ghusl from janaabah, he
would call for something like a vessel used for milking and take water in his palm. He
started with the right side of his head, then
the left, then he took water in both palm s
and poured it all over his head.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari & Muslim
One of the important rulings concerning this
matter is that ghusl for major impurity takes
the place of wudoo’, so the person who has
done ghusl, whether the complete or the
acceptable form, does not have to repeat
wudoo', unless he does something that invalidates purity whilst doing ghusl.
May Allah bless us with understanding of our deen.... Ameen.

III++*** GODS WILL***++III
''God Leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills" ( Q35:8 )
~ Allah has two kinds of Will.
1. One is His (pre-eternal) Decree concerning the creation, including responsible, conscious beings. This Will is also called MASHIAH/IRADAH KAOLIYAH.
It is absolutely with regards to things and unconcious beings, while it takes into consideration the (Future) will of responsible, conscious beings will use their free will and decrees accordingly.
2. God's other Will (Iradah) entails what He demands from His servants and denotes those things with which He is pleased. This Will is reffered to as MASHIAH/IRADATUL SHARIYAH.
~ In the above verse ''Allah leads astray whom He wills'' means that He lets go astray those who choose to follow Shaytan and the promptings of their carnal soul, with the result that they follow their fancies and personal ideas and commit evil deeds that, though not based on true knowledge, seem just to them.
As for, ''He guides whom He wills'',this denotes those who choose to resist the temptatios of Shaytan and their carnal soul, and instead follow the guidance that God sends through His Messengers, and they see as good whatever Allah decrees as so.
