Brisk Weather, Focused Minds, and Purposeful Learning: Week 3 at The Rehla Academy! 📚✨

As the third week of the session kicked off, the atmosphere across our campus was charged with enthusiasm, assessment readiness, and spiritual devotion.

From our Early Years learners discovering the steps of Wuduu’ through sensory and kinetic activities, to our Primary scholars reciting verses 70–72 of Surah Al-Ahzab with inspiring precision, our commitment to blending academic rigour with Islamic values remains unwavering.

In the Secondary school, our Student Leadership Council (SLC) anchored a seamless assembly, setting a high standard for academic focus as teachers across all departments—including Language and UQA—gauge comprehension for the conduct of the 1st Assessment.

Looking Ahead This Week:

🤖 Robotics training continues in full swing!

💻 On Friday, we welcome our partners from StackJunior/Ustacky to launch our self-paced online learning initiative for every scholar!

📖 Preparations for the Read Hackathon, Parent Engagement Activity (PEA), and the Leader-in-Me framework are moving forward seamlessly.

Whether in the classroom, the Ubay Bin Ka'b Quran Academy, or our serene hostel environment, TRA scholars are being nurtured for holistic success.

Week 2 Recap: Living "Excellence with Purpose" Across All Frontiers at The Rehla Academy! 📚🏆

What an extraordinary second week at TRA! From classroom innovation to boarding house leadership, our learners are thriving in an environment built on quality, value-based education.

✨ Highlights from Week 2:

🌱 EYFS: Tawheed-based learning, body parts recognition, and foundational numeracy & literacy.

📖 Primary: A brilliant presentation by Year 5 pupil Rizqot Ahmed on study habits, smart revision, and elimination of classroom distractions.

🎓 Secondary: Hands-on Read Hackathon and Robotics/Coding sessions mid-week, culminating in Friday sports and the inauguration of our new Student Leadership Council! Congratulations to our new Head Boy, Sulaimon AbdurRahman, and Head Girl, Salaudeen Aliyah!

🕌 UQA & Boarding: Tutors led structured Qur'an Muraja'ah (Mon–Wed) and conversational Arabic (Thu). Hostel boarders launched Round 1 of the Hostel Sports Tournament with relay obstacle courses and attended our Friday Night Knowledge Circle on the Seerah of Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr (RA).

Management continues to optimize resources as we prepare for upcoming Parent-Teacher Engagement Activities (PEA) initiatives.

🌿 WEEK 2 AT TRA: LEARNING WITH PURPOSE

Week 2 has begun with renewed energy across EYFS, Primary, Secondary, UQA and the Hostels — and the momentum is unmistakable!

From playful learning and independent reading in EYFS, to Qur’anic reflection in Primary and student leadership in Secondary, every section is contributing to a purposeful learning experience.

📖 Qur’an memorisation continues.
🧠 Curiosity was sparked by a fascinating “Did You Know?” presentation on scorpion venom.
📚 UQA strengthened learning through Qur’an, Arabic, Islamic Studies and pre-Salāh Murāja‘ah.
🏫 Hostel learning circles continued alongside care and hospitality.
🤝 Management rounded off the day with reflection, staff feedback and purposeful planning.

With initiatives such as the Read Hackathon and PEA ahead, preparation has already begun.

End of Week 1: "Excellence with Purpose" in Full Motion at The Rehla Academy! 📚✨

What a remarkable first week of the 2026/2027 Academic Session! From our youngest EYFS pupils to our management team, our school theme has guided every action this week.

Here is how our sections wrapped up Week 1:

🌱 EYFS: Interactive kinetic learning and character-building lessons on positive habits.

📖 Primary: Enjoying our upgraded campus facilities, full class engagements, and bilingual sessions (Arabic & English) on the power of kind, truthful words.

🎓 Secondary: Active learning across core disciplines, Year 11 launching their 1st Mock Examinations, Friday sports, and an uplifting Jumu'ah sermon by the School Imam on Excellence with Purpose (featuring a cash-rewarded student quiz!).

🕌 UQA & Boarding: Tutors and hostel staff ensured flawless ex*****on across Qur'an Muraja'ah, meals, and boarding prep for both boys' and girls' wings.

The Management team is fully prepared as we host our First PTC Meeting and Boarders' Open Day tomorrow, Saturday 19th September. We look forward to fruitful engagements with our parent community!

A Vibrant Beginning: Day One of the 2026/2027 Academic Session at The Rehla Academy! 📚✨

Today, our staff and learners returned to campus with contagious enthusiasm, setting an inspiring tone for the first term of the 2026/2027 academic year!

From our EYFS learners exploring outdoor learning with Ustaadh Abdullaah and Tr Dauda Afusat, to our Primary pupils rehearsing our theme—“Excellence with Purpose”—the atmosphere was filled with energy and focus.

In the Secondary Section, the Student Leadership Council (SLC) led a powerful assembly. Head of School notes on core values were enriched by spiritual insights from our School Imam. Teachers across UQA and secular disciplines immediately engaged learners with targeted baseline assessments to guide their academic growth.

Following Dhuhr congregational prayers, our Imam capped the 2:00 pm closing schedule with a practical reflection on Surah Al-Ahzab (33:70–71), inspiring students to guard their speech and act with integrity.

With seamless hostel operations, warm hospitality extended to new boarders, and proactive oversight by management, TRA is poised for a magnificent term.

Excellence is not an accident; it is a conscious commitment! 🌟

Today, 7th September 2026, the academic and administrative staff of The Rehla Academy officially resumed for the 2026/2027 session! 📚✨

To set the tone for the year, our Head of School, Mr Sulaimon Babatunde, unveiled our annual theme: “EXCELLENCE WITH PURPOSE”.

At TRA, we believe that academic brilliance must be anchored in solid Islamic character (Amanah & Ihsan). Our educational framework rests on three unshakeable pillars:

🔹 Character: Who we are (Character before achievement).

🔹 Competence: How well we deliver (If it is worth doing, it is worth doing well).

🔹 Commitment: How consistently we live it (Consistency creates culture).

Following an intensive summer extension program—where Year 11 prepared towards May/June 2027 and Year 12 focused on Oct/Nov 2026—our Year 12 boarders remain in residence powering through targeted exam prep. We look forward to receiving all returning and new learners on Monday, 14th September 2026!
