The practice of College Old Boys or Old Girls Associations recognizing,honoring and celebrating only those who attain political,professional or material status in life is selective and discriminatory.

We should be human and spiritual,to equally appreciate those among us whom were once our childhood colleagues, but unable to rise to the material heights of life.

We should recognize and honor as well as help those who ‘couldn’t make it in life’.They are not failures in life,they are those not privileged by fate to acquire or assume the vanities or the ephemeralities of life.

Old Boys and Old girls Association should be a reunion of souls, to recount the good old days of brotherly or sisterly unconditional love and celebrate the wrinkles,baldness and the grey hairs that marked our mileage.

It should be a place to recall history with jokes and smiles and prayers for those who departed earlier than us.

The prevailing situations in most old Boys and Girls meeting is that in which the ‘rich old boys or girls’ comes to show off and the ‘poor old boys or girls are intimidated’.This must change.

Yes,fingers are not equal and life has been good to some,but let not those attainments kill that comradely spirit we shared in our classrooms and hostels, as young people unaware of what life has for us in the future we now live.

Memories and particularly Childhood memories are the priceless treasures of all alma mater.School life was our raw and innocent stage in life before we became processed and possessed.

On the final note,life will always be busy and packaged with its challenges,but try and spare a moment to visit the orphans and widows left behind but by your once good school friend.

You may not have anything to give, but your presence matters most to his spirit and they will see him in you.Lets be human once again.Lets keep the spirit.......

It was double felicitations over the weekend from friends and family of Agsoba Omotoyosi Craig as he bags a PhD at the prestigious Stellenbosch University and an award of excellence in education at the just concluded Ogun Youth Awards. Agsoba Club 9804 shares this joy with you pal. Keep shining!

Another year added to the blossoming years of Agsoba Busari Abdul-Azeez. The club appreciates and celebrates you today specially. Age gracefully our dear P.R.O.

Days like this reminds us of one of the most important decisions taken in life. It's the day two people decided to fuse together forever. It's a joy to be reminded of a beautiful start to the journey to forever. Agsoba Club 9804 shares the joy this pleasant memory brings to you this day. That popular Yorùbá adage says Ogun ọmọdé o lè ṣeré f' ogún ọdún' (No 20 kids play together till adulthood). True as that is, we chose to keep the bond of friendship strong. Bringing more than 20 'children' together again.

While we were younger than now we read about beauty and the beast. Now that we've come of age we know beauty can be complemented by brain. Hence, beauty, not pinky and brain. Beauty and brain best describes you dear Agsoba Idemudia Stella. As you grow, become more beautiful and make yourself contagious to your environment. Don't hoard the brain part of you from the world either, she needs you. Here's wishing you an achievement filled year ahead. Happy Birthday.

As we prepared for one of the events marking this year's reunion (the novelty match in honour of our friend, brother and club mate, Late Agsoba Ogunbayode Busayo, played on 6th December 2018) we decided to tour the school compound just to have a gaze at the developments in order to see where to best add our bits to it. We made some wonderful and impressive discoveries. There are loads of renovations being done in the school, sponsored by individuals, organisations and Agsoba clubs. Notable amongst the renovated buildings are the Agric Lab, the Home Economics Department, the School Clinic while we found the Agsoba clinic as well. It wasn't all pleasant sights all through as we spotted a couple of dilapidated buildings chief of which is the renowned Squash Hall. The pictures accompanying this post and the post itself is a call to all club 9804 members to join hands and give back to our dear Alma mater. She needs us. Let's discuss this and more at the reunion on 26th December 2018 by 10am at the AGS sports complex gallery. There'll be games, music, tour round the school and robust discussions on trendy issues.
