The College of Broadcasting, Abeokuta (COBAB), an initiative of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) is an affiliate of Crescent University, Abeokuta.

The college is established to provide educational training in Broadcasting. It was registered on the 14th of February, 2018 and is situated at Glass House, Opako, Adigbe, Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria. Our mandate as an institution of learning is to standardise the Broadcasting landscape. We have discovered a gap in the broadcasting and media sector. Hence, the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) was motivated to create a platform by reason of the creation of the College to build up competent broadcast professionals equipped and certified to meet the modern day ethos of broadcasting both in the private and public broadcast sector.

The College of Broadcasting is therefore considered a rescue mission in broadcast professionalism, education and knowledge. Its equipped with a modern studio and is situated in a serene environment with student friendly staff members and learning enabling resources.
