CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM THE PROVOST

It is my pleasure to extend warm and festive greetings to all members of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta community, including staff, students, and their families, on the joyous occasion of Christmas.

As we come together to celebrate this season, may we be inspired by the values of love, kindness, and generosity that define this special time. May the joy and spirit of Christmas fill your hearts and homes, and may we radiate this love to those around us.

In this season of giving and sharing, let us reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and its significance in our lives. May we be grateful for the blessings received while we strive to spread joy and happiness to those who need it.

I wish you all a blessed, peaceful, and joyous Christmas celebration. May Almighty God grant us, and our loved ones, the strength and good health to celebrate many more Christmases to come.

*SOYELE BAGS MERIT AWARD AS BEST PROVOST*

The Provost, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Dr. Rafiu Adekola Soyele, has bagged the Merit Award as the best Best Provost on Infrastructure in the Southwest. This prestigious national merit award was conferred on him by the Committee of Public Relations Executives and Information Officers in Colleges of Education in Nigeria (COPRECOEN) during a ceremony held at the Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife Conference Hall, National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), Abuja.

The event drew esteemed stakeholders, including Prof. Paulinus Chijioke Okwelle, Executive Secretary of NCCE; Dr. Ali Adamu, Chairman of the Committee of Federal Provosts; Dr. Umar Tambari, Chairman of the Committee of State Provosts; and Dr. Smart Olugbeko, President of COEASU. Dr. Ebuka Obi, National President of COPRECOEN, commended Dr. Soyele's transformative leadership, highlighting his focus on infrastructural development and human capital development.

Dr. Soyele's award not only celebrates his love for infrastructural development but also acknowledges his visionary leadership in redefining standards of excellence in Nigeria's teacher education system.
