One of the not-too-far long-term goal I have for Stillwaters is to have a physical facility where classes on soft skills and intrapersonal skills training will also be happening while the online LMS portal is running too.

There will be facilitators handling different classes in the physical space, and students will come in, learn and leave after their session is over.

There will on-site guidance and mentorship for people who need further assistance.

I had to embark on this journey to understand forgiveness because at a point in my life God had asked me to forgive different people who had hurt me terribly.

Here is what I learned and what I am trying to practice as God keeps helping me. 👇

Forgiveness is intentionally letting go of the hurt, the negative emotions and thoughts attached to the hurt done to you, by you or someone else…

It is freeing yourself of the thoughts of wishing them bad or that of revenge.

Forgiveness also extends to become the art of replacing the negative thoughts with compassion, goodwill, and love while also embracing healing from the hurt and pain.

It allows for healthy and positive thoughts and emotions towards the culprit, abuser or the perpetrator of the harm.

I also learned that Forgiveness is fully possible when you receive it first from God’s Compassion Economy, this enables you exercise the ability towards others. This way, you are learning to forgive others by watching how God forgave and still forgives you.

Meanwhile, our online school Stillwaters will teach a course on the art of forgiveness.
