MY PERSONAL VIEW/REMARKS:
Imagine,77% scored less than 200 marks while 23% scored 200 marks and above.
I personally had forseen this because the reading habit in our children is dead.
I can tell our dear parents that the JAMB shows the real capacity/strength of our children.
One thing is to teach, another thing is to let the children understand then, another thing is to let the children recall what they had learnt.
For example, my personal experience, I taught my children simultaneous equations in JSS3 third term,I assessed them,I had confidence that majority of them knew the topic very well. After 3 months, I employed a new teacher to teach them Mathematics in SS1 first term the same topic, the teacher came to me and said they didn't know the topic again. The level of our children assimilation is too low nowadays.
I have known this before now that there will be a problem in any future external exams for our children.
I want the parents to know that this problem is not peculiar to small, medium school alone .it is general.
The only excuse that I have for our children is just their LOW AGE FACTOR.
In a situation whereby a child is less than 16 years writing JAMB.
In education, the maturity age is 20.
This affects all of us that have children in private schools.
Someone may ask why a 20 year old in public schools scored less than our 16 year old in private school? The answer is that learning is garbage inn and garbage out.
Teachers may not teach him well or he himself is not serious academically.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION:
Let's give our children a close mark by checking all their works, asking questions sometimes from what they had done in the past.
That is where we find ourselves today.Dont say,I have been on work since morning,I can't come back and start stressing myself again.our children are not ready.
Don't let them have access to Android phone because of social media influence.
May Almighty God give them more knowledge.Amen๐Ÿ™

Just to remind you!

Parents, don't pick schools based on billboard size.

Don't choose based on:

โœ… Structure(Gigantic and beautiful Building)

โœ… Reputation

โœ… Word of mouth

โœ… Visible improvement

โœ… Emotional connection

โœ… How the school makes them feel.

If you want to become parents, first do
the following

๐Ÿ‘‡ Visit the school

๐Ÿ”ธ Own a unique identity

๐Ÿ”ธ Build strong parent experience systems

๐Ÿ”ธ Involve the community in small wins

๐Ÿ”ธ Publicize real learner progress

๐Ÿ”ธ Let staff and parents do the talking.
