Fashina gave the assurance while giving his acceptance speech after emerging the President of the Association during an election organised by the Association electoral body at the School premises on Saturday, 26th of April, 2025.
The election had 120 accredited delegates from 14 sets of the school with the President-elect gotten 120 votes being unopposed while Bamidele Adebowale secured the Vice President 1 with 64 votes to defeat Adebiyi Adetutu.
Also, Oluseyi Adekunle declared winner of the Vice President 2 Diaspora, Charles Afolabi defeated Charles Oloyede to win the National Secretary, Adesina Akamo elected Assistant National Secretary.
Other elected positions, Treasurer goes to Sowunmi Taiwo, Financial Secretary to
Rahmon Folayimi, Social Secretary to Adejoke Yusuf, Welfare Secretary to Adegoke Yetunde, National Provost to Korede Ademuyiwa and Publicity Secretary to Adebisi Adebesin.
Speaking on the 5-points Agenda, the President-elect vowed to ensure that all members regain their confidence in the Association. βWeβll sustain the rekindled fire and keep it burning to the upliftment of the Association and members alikeβ.
Secondly, Fashina vowed to enlarge the Association membership by ensuring that other sets who are yet to register do so, revealing that seventeen sets have already registered leaving out another seventeen.
According to him, βWe will ensure that we get in touch with these sets, up to 2015 and make sure they registerβ.
He also vowed to work on the school environment by way of incorporating hard and soft landscape. βWeβll beautify and enhance the landscape with grass, economic trees, walkways and driveways.
Fashina said, βThe fourth is to seek investment opportunities where the fund of the Association could be channeled to raise more funds as annual dues from sets alone cannot meet the needs of the Association.
Lastly, the President-elect vowed to plough back into the school by assisting indigent students through mentorship, scholarship and career guidance. βAll these will be pursued vigorously along with other program of the elected officialsβ, he said.
