A device that converts sound into electrical signals. This is how a microphone is defined on the Wikipedia.

If you are reading this right now, chances are that you are using a device that is capable of converting ideas and thoughts into projects or products. Anyone standing in front of a microphone should have a well thought-through message they want to deliver. And so anyone holding a digital device must have a message, or product, or brand, or content they want to contribute to the internet. What is your content or message?

Your phone or computer empowers you to broadcast yourself. But pick your message carefully, because your message could make you or mar you. The internet does not forget anything and is merciless. Protect yourself by not being a bully or a troll, a fake lifer or a show off, a liar or a fraudster. Rather, be helpful, empathic, productive, and nice to people you meet online. Your online reputation could help you in the real world if good or destroy you if bad.

It's the information age, you are either giving information or receiving it. A lot of information out there is false. Are you adding to the bedlam by contributing meaningless chatter? Are you among the information bottom feeders recycling unverified disinformation? Or are you a thought leader? A genuine and honest person? If you are not, at least, do you aspire to be?

The greatest deception of the internet is the illusion that it is not real. It is very real. Lives have been ruined and lost on the internet. Lives have also been transformed and blessed there too. You can't tell people who fall into any of these categories that the internet is not real. Don't wait until you fall a victim in order to change your mantra.

The internet is real. So re-evaluate your content.

In forex trading, you want to be as precise as possible. Your every action and decision should begin with a WHY. This is what guarantees that you can improve over time. WHY do you set your take profits the way you do? If your targets don't get hit, would you know why?

During a forex training, we asked a student why he set his profit target the way he did it in that trade and he had no explanation. Even though the target was hit, and was kind of okay, if he didn't know why, it would just be dumb luck. But if he knows why then he can ensure his targets are hit more often than not.

This is what is known as the Blue Screen of Death. It can happen to any computer user at any time and can be quite destructive.

You could be unable to log into your computer, or could potentially lose all your files. So you should be prepared against this occurrence. So if you have not been thinking about storing your files in the cloud, you should right now.

You can no longer safely rely on your computer to store your files. We have seen people who tot all their precious documents, videos, images and files all on one computer and are both content and ignorant of the impending dangers they face if they either lose the computer to thieves or to a sudden shock that freezes the hard drive.

Cloud Storage is next generation storage and there are a lot of cloud storage solutions out there like MediaFire, OneDrive, Proton, Google Drive, iCloud and so on. Start storing your files on the cloud because this is by far better that using a hard drive or a flash drive.

Many users of free digital services don't understand the business model of these companies, and so they just go ahead and share everything about themselves online. They share every personal biodata, photo, favourite things, etc, things that are supposed to be confidential information.

Coming online was your first step. Well done! Now you must learn how to live online. You don't run around naked in the real world, why should you do that online?
