Our Historic Home-Coming and Reunion Creates Unforgettable Experience

The serene atmosphere of Ediene Abak was electrified, eliciting joy and happiness as the Home-Coming and Reunion of our Old Students Association took place today at the sports ground of our alma mater.

The event's highlights included the presentation of Awards of Excellence to outstanding old students, teachers, staff, significant members of the Ediene-Abak community, and humanitarians who have made positive impacts. Additionally, the oath of allegiance was administered, inaugurating the Executive Committee, officially.

A major announcement was made by a Europe-based alumni, pledging to facilitate yearly educational support to the top four graduating students from our alma mater. This generous gesture is set to inspire and motivate students to strive for academic excellence.

The reunion was a momentous occasion, reuniting old colleagues and friends, creating unforgettable memories that would continue to reverberate in the course of time.

In his welcome address, the International President, Pastor Israel Ntia, expressed delight at the overwhelming support from all Old Students at home and diaspora, highlighting their various contributions to the vision of a sustainable alumni with a strong bond of love and loyalty among members. He reiterated the association's commitment to rehabilitating the JSS 3 classroom block as its pet project as contractors have been contacted for specifications and material requirements. The project seeks to contribute to mitigating the pains Students undergo while learning under undeserving environmental conditions. Ntia pledged his unalloyed commitment to driving the association with utmost transparency and accountability.

Earlier today,
I was privileged and honored to received a flag of leadership to pilot the affairs of 2007 old students of Comprehensive Secondary School Ediene, Abak.

The presentation was humbly done to me by the International President Bishop Israel Ntia on the first of it kind and historic Compseco Ediene, Abak. old students (Alumni) and home coming/reunion event.

The event drawn in the pioneer principal of the institution as at 1983/1984, academic session, principal and teachers thereof and as well as all old and current students doing well from their respective endeavors of life.

Let me specifically congratulate the international president and his executives for a successful hosting of such a magnitude event.

I give God all the Glory!
